Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, set upon a crescent, with hair elaborately waved and coiled at the nape in the characteristic Gallienic court style. The imperial effigy is rendered in medium relief typical of provincial Lydian bronze coinage. A circular Greek legend frames the bust in the field. The coin bears a post-antique piercing hole at the lower edge, indicating secondary use as a pendant or ornament.
