Reverse description The Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux, stand facing one another at centre, each with head turned inward toward the other. A six-pointed star appears above each figure's head as their divine attribute. Each hero grasps a long spear in one hand and holds the bridle of his horse with the other; the two horses flank the composition, their bodies turned outward away from one another. The reverse legend, naming the strategos Aurelius Meidios in his capacity as Asiarch and recording the neokoros status of Cyzicus, is distributed around the field.
