Reverse description Zeus enthroned to the left, depicted in the canonical Pheidian tradition, his semi-draped figure seated upon a high-backed throne with footstool visible beneath. In his extended right hand he holds a patera for libation, while his left hand grasps a tall sceptre. The composition fills the flan with authority, surrounded by the civic magistrate's legend in Greek characters. A dotted border frames the design, consistent with the civic bronze coinage of Magnesia ad Maeandrum under the Severan dynasty.
