| Reverse description | Nude Aphrodite standing facing, her head turned to the right, with both arms raised as she holds long tresses of her hair in each hand in the anadyomene pose. To her left stands a small nude Eros facing right, holding a bow (partially legible) and arrow. To her right, a dolphin is depicted. The composition reflects the Aphrodite Anadyomene type common in Phrygian civic coinage, and the dedicatory legend of the magistrate Attalos encircles the reverse field. |
