Reverse description A tetrastyle temple depicted in elevation, its four columns framing a cult statue of Heracles standing nude within the cella, turned to the right, brandishing a club in his raised right hand and holding a spear in his left. The architectural rendering includes a pediment above the colonnade, consistent with the civic temple types common to Ionian provincial bronze coinage. The surrounding field carries the magistrate's legend naming the strategos Claudius Secundus and the ethnic of the city of Erythrae.
