(Translation: Emperor Caesar Lucius Septimius Severus [---])
Reverse description Septimius Severus advancing left, raising his right hand to crown a trophy while holding a sceptre in his left; at his feet, the personified river god Aisepos reclines to the right, resting on a water urn from which water flows, a conventional representation of a local river deity. The composition celebrates imperial victory and integrates a distinctly local geographical symbol, linking the emperor's triumph to the region of Cyzicus. The reverse legend, disposed in the field and exergue, names the local strategos Alfius Modestus and the Cyzicenes, along with the river name ΑΙϹΗΠΟϹ.
