Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in high relief with pronounced facial features and a short beard. The laureate wreath is clearly visible atop the head, and the paludamentum is fastened at the shoulder. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
