Reverse description Hygieia standing right, extending a patera toward a serpent coiling upward to feed from it, facing Asclepius standing frontally with head turned left, leaning upon his serpent-entwined staff. The two deities of healing are rendered in the typical provincial Greek style, with draped figures occupying the full height of the field. The reverse legend is arranged in two lines or around the field, citing the eponymous magistrate Lucius Manlius Ploutianus as first archon and naming the civic authority of the Nicaeans of Cilbiana.
