Reverse description The Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux, stand facing one another in the field, their heads turned inward toward each other; each figure holds a long spear in one hand and grasps the bridle of his horse with the other. The two horses stand facing each other flanking the divine twins, completing the symmetrical composition. The reverse legend, arranged around the design, records the name of the strategos and identifies Cyzicus as a neokoros city, reflecting the city's prestigious status in the imperial cult.
