| Reverse description | Cult statue of Artemis Anaïtis, depicted frontally in the rigid hieratic manner, standing erect within a galloping biga driven to the right. A winged Nike flies above the chariot, also moving right, and extends her arms to hold the reins of the horses. The composition is unusual and emblematic of the local veneration of Artemis Anaïtis at Hypaepa, and the reverse legend naming the local magistrate Iulianus and the civic ethnic of the Hypaepeni is distributed in the field. |
