| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The imperial effigy displays characteristic layered drapery over the cuirass, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. A Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading from upper left to right. The flan is notably broad and irregular, typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period. |
