Reverse description Three tetrastyle temples arranged side by side in a symmetrical architectural composition, each surmounted by a wreath symbolising the neocorate honours granted to Smyrna. The central temple houses a seated cult statue of Roma facing left, while the flanking temples frame the scene symmetrically. This triple-temple type commemorates Smyrna's status as a three-time neocorate city, one of the most prestigious civic honours in the Roman province of Asia. The Greek legend encircles the design, proclaiming the city's primacy and its triple imperial cult.
