| Reverse description | Hera standing facing with head turned to the left, her figure rendered in classical Hellenistic style. In her extended right hand she holds a patera, while her left hand rests upon a tall sceptre. A peacock or small animal is visible at her feet to the lower left, consistent with Hera's iconographic attributes as rendered in Alexandrian provincial coinage. The Greek regnal date legend L ΚΑ (year 21 of the Alexandrian era, corresponding to 212–213 CE) appears in the right field. |
