| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and pteryges articulated across the lower truncation. The emperor's short, curly hair is rendered in the characteristic Severan style beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend occupies the full periphery of the flan, reading from upper left around to lower right. |
