| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The emperor's effigy occupies the majority of the obverse field, with the laurel wreath rendered in fine detail. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust along the periphery, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait displays the characteristic mature features of Antoninus Pius, with a full beard and strong brow, consistent with die types issued during the later years of his reign. |
