| Reverse description | Draped bust of the goddess Isis facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed with long beaded tresses falling over her shoulders. Isis is crowned with her distinctive headdress comprising a taenia, a central solar disk, and flanking cow horns, emblematic of her syncretic identity with Hathor. The drapery is rendered in fine parallel folds over the breast and shoulder. The regnal date L Δ (Year 4) is placed in the field to either side of the bust, corresponding to the fourth year of Antoninus Pius's reign (140–141 AD). |
