| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, a rendering characteristic of mid-third-century Roman Provincial coinage from Asia Minor. The emperor's paludamentum is visible across the far shoulder, and the cuirass details are rendered in low relief. A Greek legend encircles the effigy along the border, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. |
