Reverse description A monumental scene depicting three neocorate temples arranged in architectural perspective: the two flanking temples rendered in three-quarter view to suggest depth, while the central tetrastyle temple is shown frontally with four columns framing a seated figure of Roma enthroned within the naos. The composition, a hallmark of Smyrna's civic pride as a three-time neocorate city, is enclosed within a dotted border with the civic and magistrate legend distributed in the surrounding field and exergue.
