Reverse description Haroeris (Horus the Elder), depicted as a cuirassed standing figure facing right, wearing the composite solar disk upon ram's horns headdress, a syncretistic emblem of his divine nature. The deity holds a spear in his right hand and grasps a crocodile by the tail in his raised left hand, the latter being an iconographic reference to the Ombite nome's Nile associations. This type is specific to the nome coinage of Ombos, reflecting the local cult of Haroeris. The reverse legend identifies the nome and the regnal year of issue.
