| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristically bold, high-relief portraiture. The laureate wreath is visible atop the emperor's head, with the drapery falling over the left shoulder. A Greek imperial legend encircles the effigy in the outer field, partially legible due to the irregular flan. The portrait displays the strong, idealised facial features typical of Trajanic coinage from the Alexandrian mint. |
