Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, draped and cuirassed, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Alexandrian style. The imperial effigy is rendered in high relief against a flat field, with the laurel wreath clearly articulated across the brow. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a green patina consistent with Egyptian bronze coinage of the early second century AD.
