| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, draped and cuirassed, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder as seen from the rear. The portrait is rendered in the confident Trajanic style characteristic of Alexandrian civic coinage, with finely detailed laurel wreath and hair. The Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, reading from the left field across the upper register. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular edges of hammered Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | Elpis, the personification of Hope, depicted standing in three-quarter view facing left, clad in a long chiton and himation that drapes elegantly around the lower body. Her right hand is raised and extends forward holding a flower, while her left arm is lowered along her side. The regnal date formula L ΙΑ (Year 11) appears in the left field, a standard feature of Alexandrian civic bronze coinage used to denote the Egyptian regnal year corresponding to 107–108 CE. |
