Reverse description Standing figure of Mên, the Anatolian lunar deity, facing left and wearing the characteristic Phrygian cap; he holds a pine cone in one hand and a long sceptre in the other. Behind his shoulders appears the crescent moon, a primary attribute of this deity in Lydian civic coinage. The reverse legend, partially preserved, names the local magistrate Artemidoros and is disposed around the field in Greek script.
