Reverse description Dionysus standing facing, head turned to the right, depicted in the nude or semi-draped manner characteristic of Hellenistic divine iconography. The god holds a thyrsus in his left hand and a bunch of grapes in his right, while leaning or resting against a vine trunk or herm at his side. The figure is rendered in a classical provincial style, occupying the full height of the reverse field. The ethnic legend ΔΟΡΥΛΑΕΩΝ is inscribed around the periphery, identifying the issuing city of Dorylaeum in Phrygia.
