| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The emperor's characteristic beard is rendered with fine detail. The Greek imperial titulature is distributed around the periphery of the flan in two registers, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ to the left and ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ to the right. |
