Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Hadrian facing left, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic portraiture of the period. The effigy displays a wreath of laurel encircling the imperial head, with visible drapery at the truncation of the bust. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed across the upper and lower fields, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The overall fabric is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hammered Alexandrian bronze coinage of the Antonine era.
