Reverse description Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, stands facing left in the field, clad in a long chiton and himation. In her extended right hand she holds a rudder resting upon a globe at her feet, symbolising guidance and destiny, while her left arm bears a cornucopia overflowing with fruits, emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The figure is rendered in the classical provincial style, with drapery rendered in broad folds. A Greek legend distributed around the periphery of the field identifies the issuing city and the presiding magistrate.
