Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted from a rear three-quarter perspective, presenting the paludamentum and lorica in careful detail. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the laurel wreath rendered in the provincial die-cutting style typical of the Milesian mint under the Severan dynasty.
