| Obverse description | Laureate head of the Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic features of Domitian's official portraiture, with a laurel wreath encircling the head. A circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially abbreviated due to the irregular flan size. The field shows the coin's hammered fabric with characteristic surface irregularities. |
