| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, with the imperial titulature arranged in a circular legend around the effigy. The portrait displays the characteristic short-cropped hair and strong features associated with Alexandrian representations of Caracalla. The obverse legend, rendered in Greek characters, records the emperor's full titulature including his Parthian and Britannic victory titles.
