Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with finely rendered beard and hair. The emperor's effigy displays strong portraiture characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage, with the laurel wreath clearly visible atop the head. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading from the obverse periphery. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with Alexandrian bronze production of the Antonine period.
