| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The emperor's effigy displays the customary wreath of laurel leaves, with facial features and neck visible in right-facing profile. The surrounding field carries the Greek imperial titulature legend distributed around the bust. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show considerable wear and encrustation consistent with heavily circulated provincial bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | Veiled Demeter standing to the right, clad in a veil and corn wreath upon her head, holding a long torch in one hand and a bundle of poppies and ears of corn in the other. The goddess is depicted in the traditional Hellenistic manner favored by Alexandrian die engravers. The date regnal legend appears in the field. The reverse type reflects the strong association of Alexandria with Demeter and the fertility cults of Roman Egypt. |
