Reverse description Heracles subduing the Ceryneian Hind, the third of his canonical Labours, depicted with Heracles kneeling with his right knee pressed upon the back of the stag and grasping the animal's antlers with both hands to restrain it. A lion skin is draped around the hero's neck, and his club is visible standing upright in the field behind him. The composition is rendered in the typical bold, summarised style of Alexandrian bronze coinage. The regnal date legend appears in the field.
