| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in three-quarter view seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and the cuirass articulated in detail. The effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage of the Trajanic period. A beaded border encircles the design, and the Greek imperial legend runs along the right field, partially preserved due to the coin's irregular flan. |
