Reverse description The Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux, stand facing one another in full figure, clothed in military attire, each holding a parazonium (short sword) in hand. Behind each figure, a horse is depicted, referencing the divine twin horsemen of Greek mythology. The composition is symmetrical and rendered in the Hellenistic style typical of Alexandrian civic bronzes, with the regnal year legend placed in the field.
