| Reverse description | Tetrastyle temple depicted in elevation, its four columns framing a cult statue of Zeus standing facing with head turned to the right, his right hand extending a thunderbolt over an altar and his left hand holding a tall sceptre. An eagle stands to the right of the composition, serving as an attribute of Zeus. The architectural rendering is consistent with Alexandrian provincial reverse types of the Trajanic period, conveying the Greco-Egyptian religious character of the mint's output. The regnal date legend L ΙΓ (Year 13) appears in the field. |
