| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with naturalistic portrait features rendered in the Roman imperial style characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The laureate wreath is rendered in detail around the head, with the portrait showing the emperor's mature physiognomy.
