Behind the emperor stands a figure of Nike (Victory), raising a wreath in a gesture of triumphal acclamation. The composition is a standard Alexandrian celebratory type emphasizing imperial military triumph, rendered in the characteristic linear style of provincial Trajanic bronzes.
