| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, portrayed nude with an aegis draped over the left shoulder, rendered in the robust Alexandrian provincial style. The laureate wreath is rendered with detailed leaf work framing the imperial effigy. A dotted border encircles the entire obverse field. The Greek legend runs along the outer border, identifying the emperor with his honorific titles. |
