Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the imperial portrait style characteristic of his reign. The effigy displays strong, idealized facial features with a short laurel wreath crown. A partial Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The portrait is executed in high relief typical of Pergamene civic bronze coinage of the early 2nd century AD.
