Obverse description Laureate head of Lucius Verus facing left, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard and curly hair of Lucius Verus as depicted on Alexandrian coinage of his early reign. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan. The coin is heavily worn, with the surface showing significant flatness and patination consistent with extended circulation.
