| Obverse description | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and piled on the head in the Antonine fashion. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style, with the portrait occupying the central field. The encircling Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ identifies the empress as Augusta. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical provincial wear consistent with circulation. |
