Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing left, with finely rendered short hair and characteristic beard, truncated at the shoulder. The imperial legend encircles the effigy in Greek characters, divided across the field. The portrait is executed in the provincial Alexandrian style, with bold relief typical of large-module Egyptian bronze coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hammered production.
