Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, presented from a rear three-quarter perspective, a characteristic Alexandrian rendering. The paludamentum drapes over the left shoulder, with visible folds of fabric and cuirass detail at the truncation. The legend is arranged in two groups across the field, flanking the imperial effigy. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard associated with Hadrian's coinage from the Alexandrian mint. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with provincial Egyptian bronze production of the period.
