| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic portrait with laurel wreath encircling the head. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and exhibits the broad, flat fabric characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the early 2nd century AD. |

| Reverse description | The emperor Hadrian, laureate and wearing the toga, stands upright in a four-horse chariot (quadriga) advancing to the right, holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in one hand and a branch in the other. The triumphal quadriga type evokes imperial glory and is characteristic of early Hadrianic Alexandrian bronze coinage. The regnal year date appears in the field in Greek numerals. The reverse field is largely plain, with the date legend providing the sole epigraphic element. |
