| Reverse description | The Tyche of Singara seated left on a rocky outcrop, draped, veiled, and wearing a turreted crown, holding ears of grain in her extended right hand. Above her, a centaur strides or reclines to the left, a distinctive civic emblem of Singara. In the lower exergual area, a river god swims to the left, personifying the local watercourse. The reverse legend in Greek around the periphery identifies the colony. The composition reflects the rich iconographic tradition of Mesopotamian colonial civic types under Roman provincial authority. |
