Reverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the god wearing his distinctive kalathos (modius) crown atop his head, seated upon the back of a walking ram which advances to the right. The ram is crowned with a solar disk flanked by horns, referencing the syncretic Alexandrian deity Amun-Ra. An Egyptian altar stands before the group in the left field. The regnal date legend L ΙΕ (Year 15) appears in the field, dating the issue to the fifteenth year of Antoninus Pius's reign.
