| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristically broad, high-relief modelling. The laureate wreath is rendered with individual leaves, and traces of drapery are visible at the truncation of the bust. The surrounding Greek legend, partially visible due to flan irregularities, runs clockwise around the periphery of the obverse field. |

| Reverse description | Athena standing facing, head turned to left, holding in her extended right hand a small figure of Nike and resting her left arm upon a grounded spear; a large round shield stands upright beside the spear at her left side. The goddess is depicted in full military dress, consistent with the Athena Promachos iconographic tradition common to Alexandrian provincial coinage. The date regnal legend L ΙΕ (Year 15) appears in the field. |
