Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, seen from the rear, presenting a three-quarter back view in the characteristic Alexandrian style. The emperor's effigy displays the laurel wreath encircling the head and the folds of the military cloak over the left shoulder. The encircling Greek legend occupies the full obverse field, naming the emperor in full titulature.
