Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed, and paludamentum-draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, presented in the imperial manner characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The emperor's portrait displays the characteristic beard and idealized features associated with his reign. The obverse legend, partially preserved, encircles the bust and identifies the emperor by his full titulature in Greek.
